Between Digital and Physical
Creating art that explores nature, escapism and tactile processes.
My name is Cillian Quearney. I’m a graduate of printmaking from the National College of Art and Design. As an emerging Irish artist, my work blends digital media and traditional craft. My practice often combines projection, pyrography, printmaking, and video to explore themes of escapism, presence, and the evolving relationship between technology and the natural world. Using footage from real world exploration and fragments from video game environments, I have created an immersive layered installation that includes tactile works inviting reflection on how we experience and escape the world around us.
